Art Not Fair
This book is about Tehran Auction. When I saw my grandfather’s painting on sale in the auction, I felt I should say something about the auction.
The book compares the auction with a boxing match. Pointing to the similarity of counting in both activities it teases the auction’s suspicious trade.
The book’s title is a play on the word, “art fair” and gives a sarcastic name to this unfair process. What you see in the pages are a few digital collages printed on used pages of old notebooks. The contents of the pages may change in every copy.
