One-day Zine Workshop from “12 Days” War Experiences

August 2, 2025 – Tehran, Iran

Following the twelve days that began on June 13, 2025, with the Israeli assault and ceasefire announcement, everyday life and perceptions drastically shifted. Out of this moment, Bazar Art Books organized a one-day zine-making workshop to collectively reflect on and archive these lived experiences.

Participants came together to transform their personal narratives, images, and ideas into a collective zine. The workshop emphasized sharing, storytelling, and the preservation of communal memory through self-publishing practices.

Materials such as printers and scanners were provided, enabling participants to design, print, and bind their works during the session. Each participant contributed to the making of the zine “Twelve Days”, which will be printed, archived in the Bazar Art Books library, and exhibited in upcoming programs at the Reading Room.
