Bookbinding Workshop in Shiraz

One of the core aims of Bazar Art Books has been to travel to different cities, presenting its archive of artist books while organizing workshops, talks, and discussions in order to reach wider audiences and foster a shared understanding of the current landscape and future paths of art publishing.

The three-day event in Shiraz, hosted at Aban Art Gallery with the support of Mim Art Academy and Bayaz School, featured the Bazar Art Books archive alongside two hands-on workshops: papermaking with Mahdieh Aboulhasan and bookbinding with Hedieh Ahmadi. This marked the first bookmaking workshop organized by Bazar Art Books outside of Tehran, warmly welcomed by young participants.
