September 4, 2025 – Didar Gallery, Tehran
The Red, Green, and Black Workshop invited participants to imagine, write, and create a booklet using these three colors—colors that, over the past two years, have become a shared flag for many people around the world. The workshop was held in solidarity with Palestine, encouraging participants to reflect on their own experiences, thoughts, and emotions in relation to these colors.
Together, we explored images, poems, songs, and cultural heritage from Palestine, and created personal booklets shaped by this long history. No prior experience in design or writing was required—participants could assemble collages from gathered images and texts, with guidance provided throughout the process.
During five hours of collective making, we told stories of solidarity with Palestine and crafted flags in red, green, and black. In the end, these flags were brought together and transformed into a fabric book.
This collective book/flag will be on view at Bazar Art Books, September 24–26, 2025.
